Functionality

Exhaust air function:

The various vapours and odours generated in the kitchen are cleaned of grease and others by the metal filter and passed to the outside. The exhaust air pipe can either be installed in the exhaust air duct or channelled to the outside as required or desired.

Recirculation function:

Not all buildings offer the option of connecting the extractor bonnet to a ventilation system. In this case, Kaiser extractor bonnets can be used as air filters.

Aluminium corrugated pipe:

Simple in operation, the 150 mm diameter exhaust air pipe for extractor bonnets for exhaust air operation is easy to install, it can be bent and stretched as required, it requires no additional fixing due to its low weight. The corrugated aluminium pipe also has a long service life.

When installing the exhaust air pipe with a diameter of 120 mm, use the adapter supplied.

Metal grease filter:

The long-lasting filter is made of rustproof materials (stainless steel and aluminium).

During normal operation, the grease filters should be cleaned every two months in the dishwasher or in a bath of gentle detergent or liquid soap.

Activated charcoal filters:

For carbon filters, chemically treated activated carbon is used, which has a high absorption capacity: it can trap dirt particles weighing more than five times its own weight. Carbon filter copes perfectly with the removal of various odours, smoke and vapour impurities. The activated charcoal filter is installed in the kitchen extractor bonnet for recirculation mode.

Edge extraction:

Uniform air extraction can be provided by extractor bonnets of various designs. Such extractor bonnets provide a permanent air supply through the slots around the entire perimeter of the front flap, behind which the activated charcoal filters or grease filters are concealed. Edge extraction is possible due to the Venturi effect, named after the Italian physicist Giovanni Venturi, who discovered it.
