Technical Information

Ducted Extraction Mode

Cooking vapors, smoke, and odors are filtered through the metal grease filter, which removes grease and other particles before the air is discharged outside. The exhaust duct can be connected to an existing ventilation system or routed directly outdoors.

Recirculation Mode

Not all buildings allow connection to a ventilation system. In such cases, Kaiser range hoods can operate as air purifiers using recirculation mode.

Flexible Aluminum Duct

The easy-to-install 150 mm aluminum flexible duct for extraction mode can be bent or extended as required. Due to its low weight, no additional support is necessary. It is also highly durable and long-lasting.

For installation with a 120 mm duct, use the supplied adapter.

Metal Grease Filter

The durable filter is made of corrosion-resistant materials (stainless steel and aluminum).

Under normal operating conditions, the grease filters should be cleaned every two months in a dishwasher or with a mild cleaning solution or liquid soap.

Activated Carbon Filter

The carbon filter uses chemically treated activated carbon with a very high absorption capacity. It can capture impurities weighing up to five times its own weight.

The activated carbon filter effectively removes odors, smoke, and vapor contaminants. It is installed when the hood is operated in recirculation mode.

Perimeter Extraction

Uniform air extraction is achieved through the perimeter extraction system. Air is continuously drawn in through slots located around the entire perimeter of the front panel, behind which the grease and carbon filters are concealed.

Perimeter extraction operates based on the Venturi effect, named after the Italian physicist Giovanni Venturi, who discovered it.
