Exhaust air function:
The various vapours and odours produced in the kitchen are cleaned of grease and other fats by the metal filter and discharged to the outside. The exhaust air pipe can either be installed in the exhaust air duct or routed to the outside as required or desired.
Recirculation function:
Not all buildings offer the option of connecting the extractor bonnet to a ventilation system. In this case, Kaiser extractor bonnets can be used as air filters.
Metal grease filter
The long-life filter is made of rustproof materials (stainless steel and aluminium).
In normal operation, the grease filters should be cleaned every two months in the dishwasher or in a bath of mild detergent or liquid soap.
Activated charcoal filters
For carbon filters, chemically treated activated carbon is used, which has a high absorption capacity: it can trap dirt particles weighing more than five times its own weight. Carbon filter copes perfectly with the removal of various odours, smoke and vapour impurities. The activated carbon filter is installed in the kitchen extractor bonnet for recirculation mode.
